Take Core Transit to the Birds of Prey Ski Races
This year’s Birds of Prey Races are expected to be the busiest of all time with the women joining the event. Parking has always been limited and Core Transit is here to let you take the easy route with all your friends. With the release of the new Core Transit winter schedule starting December 1st, getting to the races on their system has never been easier.
Why Take Core Transit?
If you drive, you’ll pay for gas, parking and still take a bus. Why not just roll with Core Transit and save some money and most likely time?
Parking is limited and will sell out, avoid the stress and ride with Core Transit!
These races build community, you'll be able to connect with friends and make new ones on your way!
From Vail & Avon:
Hop on the Vail/Beaver Creek express route from Vail Transportation Center and Avon Station to Beaver Creek village. This route runs every 20 minutes. Bus Like a Pro Tip: Town of Avon also has busses departing Avon station to Beaver Creek.

From Edwards & Freedom Park & Ride:
Jump on the HWY 6 route OR Park at the Mountain Rec Field House and hop on the Valley or HWY 6 routes to Avon Station. Bus Like a Pro Tip: The Valley Route will make it to Avon Station faster with less stops than the HWY 6 route. Once you get to Avon station you can hop the Vail/BC Express or Town of Avon skier shuttle to get up to Beaver Creek Village.

From Eagle/Gypsum:
Take the Valley Route to Avon Station. Bus Like a Pro Tip: The Eagle Chambers Park & Ride has the most direct routes to Avon Station. Don’t forget to have your cash or mobile fare ready if you plan to board in Gypsum. Once you get to Avon station you can hop the Vail/BC Express or Town of Avon skier shuttle to get up to Beaver Creek Village.
